I am mom of a 10 year old son. My status is undocumented and I have been in this country since 1999. Since the chaos has began, I have found myself saying "what if". What if I don't come back from work? I am preparing myself and my son for the worst. In that preparation I have decided to provide a package for my 10-year-old son. A package with emergency contacts, birth certificate, medical information, school records and anything else that may be useful for him. So instead of teaching him math I am teaching how to survive as I don't know what my outcome will.
